‘Xylem and Phloem’ is the new micro-exhibition in the Prosaic Projects Gallery, curated by Sean Williams. It features ‘Yarrow and Nettle on Smyth Street’ by Helen Thomas ; ‘Meadow Saxifrage’ by Barbara Howey ; and ‘Dark Marsh: Winter Tangle’ by Judy Tucker
Sean writes "three amazing painters who work primarily with images of plants. In so doing, they invite us to consider more carefully the various roles plants play in our lives. Their brushwork reflects the vitality, resilience, and vulnerability of the plants they depict. "
